国際経済と地域経済の未来を切り拓く
名古屋市立大学大学院経済学研究科・附属経済研究所は、「国際的視野に立った地域経済の研究を通じて広く国際・地域経済に貢献すること」を主旨として平成8年に設立されました。アジア諸国をはじめとする世界経済との連携を考慮しつつ、中部圏の経済構造、財政、金融、労働、社会保障、さらに環境などの問題を研究し、研究成果をもとに東海地域経済の堅実な発展や住民の満足度を高めるような政策提言を行っています。
The Institute of Economic Research was established in 1996 with the main purpose of contributing to the international and regional economy at large through the research of the regional economy with a global view. Taking into consideration the integration of the
world economy, especially that of Asian countries, its research topics focus on challenges facing the economy of the Chubu Region including economic structure, public finances, financial activities, labor economics, social security, and the environment. It publicizes policy proposals based on its research outcomes in order to achieve a steady economic growth in the Tokai Area and satisfy the expectations of its citizens

Discussion Paperの刊行: 最新の研究成果や議論の余地があるテーマに関するDiscussion Paperを定期的に刊行し、学際的なコミュニケーションを促進しています。
公開シンポジウムの開催: 重要なトピックに焦点を当て、研究成果を公開するとともに、関係者との交流の場として公開シンポジウムを開催しています。
